I'm thinking about ordering some 45 and 357 hi Tek bullets. Any thoughts or experience with these would be greatly appreciated.
Exactly. And, I’ve heard, variety is the spice of life. I know the thread title is MBC, but Bayou and Blue Bullets are other sources for coated bullets that I use as well. All good stuff. I'm getting low and I expect time for delivery the way things are going right now. I guess that's why I'm looking for something different. I don't think it hurts to have several different suppliers with different loads worked up.
I have never actually shot any lead through my 45. I've always used plated in my loads and fmj for factory. Both 230gr RN.
Good stuff, but I've been waiting for weeks for my order to come in.I'm thinking about ordering some 45 and 357 hi Tek bullets. Any thoughts or experience with these would be greatly appreciated.
Do you recall the SD of the lot you weighed?Bullet weight continues to be inconsistent but for me and this shooting it's not relevant.
I've always been curious about the swc in 45acp but have heard so many stories about certain types of bullets not feeding reliably. My Kimber has been pretty reliable only using 230gr RN
