I am working on getting a copy of the letter posted here.
In short the Sheriff has sent me a letter saying that the "Metro Sheriff's Association consensus is that your current MPPA permit will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue instead of the 5 years that was the law at the time your permit was issued."
Goes on to state that if I want to renew I need to stop by Sheriff's Office.
Where the HECK [first time I have felt like using words to offend Art's Grandma here on THR] does the Sheriff get to decide what the law is????????????
He makes no mention of refunding my money, says he will waive the mandatory $10.00 for renewal.
The last sentance ends "...we will work with the permit holders to make sure your rights are protected during the turmoil."
When they are attacking my rights!
