Excuse me in advance for being longwinded.
A local seller has a S&W model 28 6" 357 mag. for sale. He is asking top price for it given it's condition which he says is 90%.
He is trying to justify the price because the deal comes with a spare 4" barrel.
My question is what is the spare barrel worth and is it a common practice to swap barrel's.
I thought that would only be something done by a gunsmith and not something that would be done
to change the gun back and forth from 4" to 6 ".
By the way the " firm" asking price is $700.
Thanks
Bob
