Model 500 ghost ring ?

I recently purchased a barrel for my 500 from mossberg discontinued stock. It came with the front blade of the ghost ring but not the back. I found that I cannot use this sight to shoot clay pigeons or slugs because it shoots low, and all over the place because I have no refernce point for aiming without the back sight. Is there somewhere where I can purchase the back sight only? Should I try to remove the front blade and put another sight on? I would like to keep this sighting system because it seems worthwhile but I don't want to spend the full price for half the sight. Any suggestions.

You can find the sight kit (the one that is the sight only) in a number of places. Like here on ebay or direct from Mossberg. This might be more than you want to spend though. Not sure what other brands of rear ghost rings might work with the factory front sight, but that might be worth looking into. Well, looks like the other brands are more like $100-$150 (MMC, XS, etc.)
