Model 65-6 worth?

did know an ATF agent who swore by the
65 in 3 inches and I believe but don't know
for sure some FBI agents and DEA agents
also liked them.

The 3" Model 13 (original blued version of the 65) in a round-butt, heavy-barreled configuration was the standard issue to FBI special agents for several years prior to the transition to 9mm semi-automatic pistols.

The 3" 13s and 65s hit the sweet spot as far as concealability and shootability.

I haven't seen a 3" s&w of any model in quite some time...

Same here; the K-frame 3-inchers seem to be sought after by collectors as the supply is drying up, although for some strange reason, I keep happening across 3" Model 36s and 60s (what's the point?)...

Gander has a used 65 four inch (not sure the dash model) for 400.

Some honest wear but nothing some mothers mag couldn't cure.

I picked up this used Model 65-3 with a 4" barrel about 20 years ago or so. I think I paid about $200 for it. But it was a fairly long time ago and I that's just a guess. This was only my second 357 Magnum after my Model 19-3 that I bought brand-spanky new in 1975. I have a few more now.
