MOLLE rifle bag for carry and storage?

I am picking up my newtome M1A Saturday and I'm trying to figure out what to store it in. I am thinking about getting a MOLLE to start. Any advice.

For long term storage, I wouldn't recomend a soft bag. Maybe I screwed up, but I left my Marlin 99 in a bag for about a month and saw a lot of corrosion on the barrel. It came off with a little CLP, CPC Type II, a wire brush and some elbow grease.

So how do you guys store your rifles?

Inside a silicone impregnated gun sock, inside a gun safe.

Get a rust preventative bag and then store it in a soft case. Never had a problem with any of my rifles even in the Texas humidity.

Make sure that the bag is long enough Scorpiusdeus. Most of the MOLLE rifle cases that I've seen are only 42" long (or less)... to short for an M1A.

depending upon budget, I use Galati soft cases for both of my AR type rifles.
Different style I know , but I'm sure Galati has a model to suit you.
