Not plugging Elk County A&As, but I noticed several new 700s in stock there, including 700 CDL and BDLs in .243, as well as 700 actions. 870s and V3s, too. I contacted Elk County and these are new guns just in from the new RemArms.

I certainly understand the trepidation some folks have about buying new Remingtons. But it does the whole gun owning community good if Remington can get back on its feet and start producing some quality firearms. I wish them well.

Whoever is making their recoil pads must be making a killing. But I hope they do well.

I’m not in the market for another hunting rifle or shotgun at the moment, so I think I’ll watch from the sidelines and see how RemArms does.

I, too wish them well and hope they succeed .

Stay safe.

You could roll a $100 up and put it in the chamber and I would not give you $80 dollars for a shotgun or rifle made by RemArms LLC. I have zero interest in anything the bankruptcy FUDD brothers are making.

I own and have owned a few Remington guns. Some I liked more than others, but have alway appreciated the history that they brought to the table. It’s hard to be a gun enthusiast and not have an appreciation for their contribution. My Remington 1100 is one of the finest trap guns going. My Remington 660 is a terrific bolt action deer gun that has never failed me. And my Remington Model 51 is the pride of my collector guns that still gets to go to the range. We won’t discuss the new Remington R51. Like many businesses, they have stumbled in recent years, but I hope that they regain their footing and carry on.

I really, really, hope they stage a comeback.

I've owned and still own a few Remingtons, my 1st guns: Nylon 66, 700ADL, 11-58, 1100 were all Remingtons and I've had good luck with them through the years. besides I really do want another (or two) M7.. or at least a stainless action. To me it's about the perfect deer rifle and the prices for used ones have entered the stupid zone..

I like the looks of that 700 BDL .243 on that webpage. I wouldn’t mind seeing one in person to see how they look up close.

All I care about is whether they produce 7600s. If they do, the older ones will come down in price and I will buy another of those.

I was never really interested in any of Remingtons big selling items from the last couple of decades. I do have a 597 Mag mad in the early 2000s, a 7615 from the late 90s, 572 from the 70s, 552 from the 80s, and recently a 141 from the 40s.

Don’t care about 700s because I don’t care about bolt actions. Don’t care about 870s because I prefer Mossbergs and Browning BPSs.

It may not seem like it but I do truly love Remington products. The biggest fans are always the biggest critics though. I love their history and their older designs. John Pederson was a firearms whiz as well as Mike Walker even though his name has been sullied by the trigger fiasco of which he was against his own design to begin with.

The only reason I lament their going under was what they contributed to the gun community in general in these more recent times.

In that respect, I do hope RemArms makes it.

I’ve probably owned over a dozen Remington firearms. One was a .22-250 that was incredibly accurate, an 870 that I used to kill probably 35-50 deer.

As much as the “purists” here sniff and hold their noses in the air concerning Remington, there was a time when Remington was THE rife, shotgun, and ammo manufacturer
