I'm ready and waiting as well. Hopefully this project can come together. I'm sick of sloppy clips that create automatic rimlock.

They're coming. One day. Any day now.

I bought some brass MN clips from a guy called uglycarfan on ebay. Supposedly the ones he makes works great. I've heard some good things about them on other forums.

I bought four cheapo chinese made ones from a local gunsmiths shop, 3 work great, one is a bitch, I also found that 2 of them work best when the rounds are loaded and fed a certain direction, i just took a sharpie marker and marked the 3 good ones with the word good and an arrow in the direction the rounds seemed to slide best, the 4th one I put a question mark on and I try to not use it whenever possible, these were a buck a pop so I gave em a shot, FWIW they work ok

Once it thaws out here I'm going to hunt down some copper sheets and start making my own. If I can get someone to make a steel form with the requisite sharp shoulders I thing it would be a big improvement.

I was so hoping that when I opened this thread that someone had made a working MN stripper clip. I mean, there's MONEY to be made in those little things considering how many MN there are. OK, someone take a trip over to Eastern Europe and take along a metal detector, there's gotta be a gazillion of those things lying in the dirt!!!

Aim was selling Hungarian on stripper clips, but they are out now. Maybe they will get some more in?????????????

ya can get the stainless Finish clips latelly for around $2 ea. they work really well for both holding rounds as well as for loading those rounds, I bought a hundred of em at the last SAR gun show in Phoenix..... Don at Omega Weapons just got a bunch too

I got these three at a gunshow for like $5 a piece. Got them because I bought the gun there, too.

It coasted a lot but they work well. Dunno why they cost so much(probably cause it was at a gun show).

I have about 6 or so that work really well. I don't remember where I got them from, but I've never had a single issue with any of them. They look to be made of brass and 7.62x54r.net tells me that they are Chinese. I don't care where they are from, they work just fine and that's all that matters to me.

I've got three of the brass repros. The trick is to take the top round, angle it up, and use its base to push the others down. It (usually) works, and it's faster than hand-loading 'em, but not that much faster.

I'd happily pay $3 a pop for clips that work - somebody make them, dammit!

Also, food for thought for smarter brains than mine: any way to simply make a detachable magazine/adaptor? I have no idea what kind of costs would be associated with that or if it's even doable, but...
