Mosin nagant svd scope

I posted on an earler thread that i am trying to put this scope on my mosin:

I am thinking about using this to allow my mosin to accept the svd mount:

Any thoughts on that? Has anyone done this or know someone who has, and could give me some feedback on how well it works/how easily it is installed?

There are some pictures in there of what your rifle will look like-its awesome!

There is a mount near the bottom of that page too which mounts it much lower than the one you linked. For the one you linked, you still need a PU scope mount base, which can be expensive, and it will place the scope pretty high. The other mount places the rail farther down and is inexpensive, but does require you to cut the stock on your rifle.

Look before you post, this thread was from back in October of last year
Also, Mosin Nagants do not have weaver bases and a different scope mount would be needed. For a POSP scope, it would be easier to use the IO Inc. side rail than to put a weaver base POSP scope on something like an ATI or Jmeck mount.
