I have 4 151M models. One thing you should do is disassemble the action and clean it, the trigger/interrupter assy on the bottom of the receiver and especially the bolt. Make sure the firing pin is free and not gummed up. If it is the gun can go auto. It's not hard to disassemble and put back together. When you shoot it the first several times only load 2 or 3 rounds to make sure everything is ok. They are great guns and I'm not trying to scare you but most have alot of gummy fouling in them from years of shooting. Good luck and have fun. Post some pics.

Great rifle! I remember back in the day G&A ran a test on semi auto 22's to see which ones would fire the fastest. They rigged an electric motor to pull the trigger and ran the speed up until the rifle jammed. The Mossberg won at around 1500 rounds per minute. The feed through the buttstock is very reliable. In fact, the feed will put the next round in the chamber while the bolt is still open.
