I just inherited a Mossberg 500 Persuader Combo any idea how much is worth?. It has not been fired!!!

MSRP for the Persuader Series runs from $345 to $370, exact model dependent.

Can sometimes find on sale New-In-Box under $250.

I picked up a new Persuader with a pistol grip, 20" barrel (no full stock like the combo) a while back at the gunshow. Got it for $219. The dealers there almost always price them between $219 and $250 (new, w/pistol grip). I'd say new your gun is worth around $300 or just shy.

According to the Mossberg website, that model (w/pistol grip kit, 18.5" barrel and 28" barrel) has an MSRP of $351.

I'd say $300 is a good fair value for it, since new from a dealer don't even go for MSRP really. Are you wanting to sell?

I just went to the Mossberg website one with the 18 1/2" ONLY costaround $350 then the additional barrel cost $155.!!!

what makes the pursuader different from a regular mossberg 500? from whats being said here so far it sounds like the standarg big 5 combo deal with a pg thrown in.

My 8 shot Persuader w/heat shield, 20" barrel, and pistol grip only has an msrp of $367 or so on Mossberg's website. I can get them all day long new for $220 - $250 around here locally. The MSRP is not what they're worth. The going rate of new ones in your area is what a new one is worth.

We are talking of TWO barrels, 18 1/2" and 28" plus a pistol grip!!!
That is the difference!!!

The MSRP for your gun new is $351 according to Mossberg. They only make 1 combo with an 18.5", 28", and a pistol grip. Stock #54169. Halfway down this page.

I know you want to believe your gun is worth more than that, but I doubt you will get anyone to pay more than MSRP. Again, I'd say $300 would be a fair price for your gun if it is new in the box never fired.

Actually, yes. YOu won't find them on the main Mossberg site, but they sell them on the Maverick site. They have a 28" barrel with accu-set chokes.
