Must be THE night for Mossberg 500 questions....here's mine:
I'm replacing the 28" barrel on my mossy 500AG with a new 20". The 20" barrel showed up today and I (foolishly) did not realize it required an 8 shot magazine tube. Now I'm on e-gunparts ordering a magazine and I can choose a "new style" or "old style". Anybody have a clue what I need?
I can't seem to find a resource to date the age of mine, but it's SN: J2689xx. Not that the age would help since the website doesn't indicate what the cut off is.
