I have a Mossberg 835 Ulti Mag in camo finish. It is one of the older models. When I use 3" or 3.5" shells it will not cycle. I have to push the action release button to get it to move. Any ideas as why it will not cycle with these size shells? I disassembled it and nothing appeared to be broken or out of place. It did need a little cleaning though. I got this gun in a trade recently so I have no history on it. The original owner said it worked fine with the 3.5" inch shells. Any thouhgts and help would be great.
