I have a Beretta Noes with are reddot that is fairly accurate and fun to shoot. I'm thinking about getting another .22 handgun, that has more intrinsic accuracy and mounting a low power scope for even more precision. Among guns in the style and price range of the Sig Trailside, Buckmark and MkII (III), what is the most accurate?
Thanks,
Jason

P.S. I have heard that the Sig will shoot well under an inch at 25meters..any experiance with this?

Of the three guns you list as potential options I would choose a Buckmark that is set up for target shooting.
If you look hard enough you can still find an old Browning Medalist for under $500.00.
If you find one in very good to excellent condition it is my opinion that it will outshoot all three of the choices you list. HTH

I would go with a used Ruger MK II Target version in the barrel lenght of your choice. The Goverment MK II will be hard to beat accuracy wise. They can also be found cheap enough to allow you to send one to Clark for a trigger job and add a new VQ exact edge extractor and still have money left from your $500.00.
