I have reached a point in my collection where I no longer need to worry about function. I have every category of handgun covered (at least for my purposes). That does NOT mean I am done with my collection though. Now I am looking to focus on getting handguns that are simply beautiful...sleek, sexy lines that ooze class.

What I am looking for is your choice for the sexiest handgun (semi or revolver) in the calibers listed below. Feel free to add pics...as everybody likes gun porn.

Calibers I'm interested in:
22lr
380
9mm
40 sw
38 spl
357 mag
45 acp
Fill-in-the-blank

While I am not set on anything yet, I am leaning toward the sig 232 in 380 and the BHP in 9...but those are not set in stone.

What are your opinions?

Browning Buckmark
Beretta 84F
Browning Hi-Power
Sig P-229
S&W Model 10 or pre-10 M&P
S&W Model 27
Colt 1911A1

S&W41 might be the ticket in .22, but one of the High Standard "ray guns" might be worth a look.
P210 beats the BHP in 9mm for me, but it's close.
I may concur in .380, but Bond's PPK (assuming it was .380 and not .32; a matter of some debate) has to be considered.
No strong opinion on 40 S&W, .38 spl or .357 Magnum - maybe a SIG X-6 in .40 S&W
1911 in .45ACP, no question

22lr
380
9mm
40 sw
38 spl
357 mag
45 acp
Fill-in-the-blank

Ruger Mk II
Walther PPK
Luger P08
Glock 22??
S&W Victory Model
Colt Python
M1911A1
Mauser C96- 7.62x25mm Mauser

Here's what I'm partial to:

22 Volquartsen Scorpion 6" black with compensator
582-black-scorpion.jpg

380 Not a fan of many here, but Ruger LCP
ruger_lcp_3.jpg

9mm hard call, but I've always been partial to HK USP/P30/P2000 look
HKP2000SK.jpg

38, Colt Python Target
9967039_1.jpg

357, 6" stainless Ruger Blackhawk
0320.jpg

45, hard to argue with a nice Wilson Combat or Sig 1911

5.7x28, FN Five-Seven, only one in category but still a nice piece

The first person who names a Glock to this should be laughed out of town.

Adding "Glock" to the list would be like the sign I once saw outside a strip club:

"20 BEAUTIFUL GIRLS AND 1 UGLY GIRL"

- .22: AMT Automag II. Slim and trim.
- .380: Walther PPK/S. Can't have a list like this without a Bond gun.
- 9mm: Beretta 92FS. I like curves and a little meat on the bones.
- 40 SW: No pick of my own.
- 38 SPL: No pick here. I just can't think of a .38 SPL revolver that's "sexy".
- .357 MAG: Maybe a Colt SAA in this caliber...but not nearly so sexy as the original chambering.
- .45: Colt SAA with 5.5 inch barrel, color case hardened. All well proportioned curves <deleted>.

I was gonna say.
Perhaps 'Sexy' is a poor choice of words.

Perhaps Classic Design, or Lasting Good Looks & appealing to everyone who sees them?

Myself?
4 Colt Woodsman.
S&W Model 41.
Baby Browning .25.
SIG P-232.
SIG 9mm.
S&W Model 39 9mm.
Glock 23 .40.
3 1911's.
Colt SAA's in .22, 32-20, & .45 Colt.

And a whole dang cabinet full of S&W & Colt DA revolvers in every caliber.

Out of them all though?
The Colt Woodsman & S&W Model 39 just look like classic designs, and always will to anyone who sees & handles one.

Women are sexy to me, not guns. Guns are tools/sporting equipment and are no more sexy than a hammer, or a football. Some are classy though.

Cars aren't sexy either. That word gets way overused nowadays. Same as "man cave". So sick of hearing it.

Why care if someone says a gun is sexy, its not literal.

Since you asked..... the problem to me is that when average members of the public do a google search on a certain gun or guns in general, and a thread comes up talking about "sexy" guns, rather than different model options to meet a specific role or need, or even a decision on "classy" guns that are fun to own just for the sake of owning them, words ARE often taken literally. The word "sexy" being used to describe a gun can be the difference between we the gun community sounding like a bunch of mall ninjas/gushy school girls/obnoxiously enthralled gun toting weirdoes who actually attach human sexuality to inanimate objects, that at their root are weapons (don't even need to get into what a psychiatrist would say about that), or sounding like a bunch of educated/equipment using/sportsmen and women that actually know what they are talking about and are reasonable people. It gives a perception to non-gun people that we place as much value on inanimate objects as we do people. We do not.

People also say they feed their guns ammo. No big deal.
There is a difference between likening a gun to a living creature that consumes food as a gun that consumes ammunition, and likening it to a member of the human race that evokes sexual desire. However, I frequently say I "love" this gun, or that gun, so I'm guilty to a degree also.

I know you mean classy, but my point is that most of us are strangers in internet land, and few emotions are efficiently conveyed in text format. So if we mean "classy", then lets say "classy". Be literal.
That being said, it's a free country, and the forum has no rules against calling guns sexy that I know of. So by all means do what you want, and carry on. My statement was a matter of opinion, and is no more or less valid than yours. Have fun... There's LOTS of great classy guns in the world.

sorry for the soap box
