Couple questions:
* Are progressive loaders accurate (both bullet seating and powder throwing) to switch over on rifle reloading?
* Do you check/trim 9mm?
* Do you crimp 9mm FMJ? I was looking at a hornady seat/crimp die, but have heard some conflicting reports on whether to crimp 9mm.
* What's the most efficient set up to deprime and resize (without going through the rest of the stages)?
What are your accuracy expectations and what powder are you using. My best progressive rifle loads will shoot sub MOA out to at least 300 yards. I use powders that meter through my measures though.
I have loaded hundreds of thousands of 9mm rounds and trimmed exactly zero of them.
I do not “crimp” to the point of distorting the bullet, so if it doesn’t have a cannelure the “crimp” would be better described as “removing the flare/bell and returning the case to its original position”.
This is the most efficient setup I have for sizing/depriming and swaging.
