I know of only 4 straight pull military rifles.
(1.) The 6mm Navy
(2.) Schmidt Rubin
(3.) Ross Rifle
(4.) Steyr 1895

In your opinion what is the most interesting (to you) straight pull rifle?

Gotta agree with Bob. I own the K-31 swiss and M-95 Steyr, have only read about Lee navy and Ross. The latter are rare, while the former are plentiful (now). The Ross can be easily assembled improperly so that it doesn't lock up in battery. Ammo for the Lee navy was corrosive and tough to find, so fine specimens have been rare for a long time.

The K-31 is a kick to shoot, well built and quirky in a fascinating way. The M-95 is a little crude by comparison, but many have that Nazi "appeal" because they were used by police and second line elements. Haven't shot the M-95 because they are short, light and I haven't got time for the pain.

I find the Steyr interesting but the K31 is a real piece of craftsmanship.

I bought a few hundred rounds of 7.5x55 brass so I can do alot of shooting with this rifle this summer. Might even take it to a service rifle competition.
