Once upon a time when I worked in an office, people became absurdly hostile at the slightest hint of a negative comment about "their" driver. One coworker threatened to file a false complaint against me to the LR person. I "escorted" him outside to see if that's what he really wanted to do. Maybe it's not so bad in other places, but It turned me totally off to that sports genre.Hey, whats wrong with nascar fans? Been to many races and never had a problem and I dont like Jr., gordon, johnson, or any of the popular drivers. Now football, Ive had nothing but problems with eagles fans!!!

A friend of mine that works at a gun store (I work at one too, not the same one though) claims that 80% of the rifles returned with issues are Remington 770's. I've handled them and the Savage Axis, and I'd choose the Axis over the 770 any day.I don't care what people say! I love my 770...with a decent scope my groupings are 3" at 200 yards. For a $250 rifle.....not bad! Say what you will about quality but most people that talk bad about the 770 have never shot or even held one.
Therein my moniker... a tribute to two quality programs, with allegiance neither!I felt the same when I first got into firearms... Hated Glock because everyone hyped them up so much. Then I saw that for AR's. And then 870's. And then AK's. And then Remin-.... you get the message.
Point is, fanboys will be fanboys. Got a Glock today (my first one), and I'm quite happy with it. I am glad I didn't let a good opportunity for a gun slip because I can't stand its fans.
Now you really wanna know who's fans I hate? Duke and Carolina!
