Most retarded gun video ever?

i can see the OP hasn't seen very many language training videos.

That video is kryptonite for young japanese men. pretty blondes, guns.

I bet the company that makes those is rolling in dough.

Calling a bad video or anything else retarded isn't very High-road. It's actually pretty offensive to anyone who has, or just cares about a special needs person.

The video was made for a Japanese audience. In addition to showing the Japanese a positive, healthy view of American shooting sports/gun culture, it's intended to teach a little English.

That's why she goes over the variant pronunciations.

Nice video.

Several years ao we had a Japanese college student stay with us and she was fascinated with "gun shooting." She only went with us once and thoroughly enjoyed it. She and her friends would have enjoyed the OP's video immensely.

I got the impression that the Japanese really like guns. Maybe because they are now forbidden in Japan. Maybe because they have a tradition holding skilled, armed warriors in high esteem. Perhaps because they also know the value of a quality, efficient tool.

Excellent OP video for the intended audience. Safe handling, good back stops, took her time, kept it simple. I think it would make the shooting experience look "accessible" and fun to most foreign students.

I liked the other video with the "Elitist Team 2" assault canine. You got to have one of those hanging off your vest for quick presentation in a variety of modes. Of course the DEA agent video will be an all-time classic for the next hundred years.

My orig video is not about guns, it's about making money - very manipulative

Wait, do you mean that your calling it retarded in your first post because someone made a video with a cute girl in order to - gasp - make money? Capitalism is retarded to you? You are going to have to be a little more articulate about what you find manipulative or retarded about this video, because I don't think either is true...

Agreed. I've posted the same opinion before, but it seems to do no good. I'm not a PC kind of guy, but a little courtesy/sensitivity would go a long way towards making us seem less juvenile to others.

the worse video is of kids using a potato as a silencer on a .44 and you see cars in the background driving where they are shooting....

We need to start placing bets on how much longer the "Double Glock" guy will live - it won't be measured in years or months, but DAYS.
That was quite a funny video, and it's airsoft. If they were real guns...would that require a tax stamp for manufacturing an AOW? I would think so...

"Double Glock"

First thing that came to mind when I read the thread title.

Some of the High point videos are doozies too.

The " Elite Team Fighter" apparently used to post here under the username EOTechrules or something close to that. He quit when people started accusing him of trying to play a Gecko style practical joke on us all.

As for the "retarded" comment it indicates a very limited vocabulary and that's all I'm gonna say

Trig Palin would not be please & his mommy knows how to gut a moose capísh?

I will admit that the narrator in the video does seem amateur from the use of non-technical jargon, but I highly doubt that this video was intended for firearms buffs and aficionados (MALE ones especially). This would probably make a good sporting video to play on a show directed toward a female audience. Not that I’m saying that women can’t be firearms enthusiasts, but most women simply aren’t attracted to gun sports because of cultural trends.

Myself, I try to get my girlfriends to go shooting with me. After all, if we could woo more females into shooting sports, we probably get more pro-gun votes at the ballot box. Even if you don’t hook them into the sport, you’ll teach them things they wouldn’t have known otherwise. Consider all that crap on TV and in movies that looked realistic until the first time you fired a gun. Kind of like how people that have never rode a horse assume it must be the same as riding a bike.

Personally, I think this is the stupidest gun video I’ve ever seen…
