I bought the Dillon BL550 instead of the 550B because I prime off the press and I was not going to use the Dillon powder measure. No need to pay for stuff that was going to collect dust and take up storage space.
Otherwise, the BL550 operates just like a 550B and shares the same parts.
Yes! I noticed the difference in deck height on my 550. If you adjust the die down to touch the shell plate, you will size too far. I also like to use the Redding competition shell holders on my turret press, so I can consistently control the shoulder bump. There is not option like that for the Dillon.
