My aunt and cousin have been murdered in Florida

Prayers and condolences to you, the two children, and other family members or friends. Words seem so shallow at a time like this and nothing we say can erase the loss or hurt, but please know that WE CARE. We will also keep you and the children in our prayers.

I'm sorry to hear of such a great tragedy such as this for you and your family.
These things make us all stop and think of the meaning of life, and remind us that we are only here for a relatively brief time, and the serious importance of our knowing why.

After the grief and anger fades, please inform us as to whether this murderer had a history of mental disorder, a criminal record, or had acted out violence before towards your cousin. I will presume that such is true, and that this murderer should not have had a firearm in his posession.

If you are able, watch out for the custody of the children, as they will be helpless, and vunerable to being placed in an enviornment that may be detrimental to them. That is probably the most realistic tribute of affection you could give to your cousin and aunt.

May God comfort you.
 
Thank god he didnt go after the two kids! I hope that your aunt and cousin souls find peace.

Too bad your aunt came between them. I think we can all learn from that that it is a BIG mistake to come between to people pointing guns at eachother.
 
Man, I'm sorry. may their memories be eternal. would you mind posting their names so I could pass them on at my church? The children, too.

I can't imagine what you must be feeling, brother. My family will pray for you and yours.
 
That is very sad news. I had a similar situation effect my sisters family about a year ago and it was like it was not real. It is shocking to say the least. All I can say is, you will get through it with time. It is very sad when there are kids involved in somthing like this. I hope they will be looked after and cared for.

The plan now is that following the investigation, the bodies will be flown to NYC to be buried....what can I say? Its hard. What do you do against someone who wants to kill you and take their own life? And I wonder if she (my cousin) had the chance at anytime to see this coming.

My aunts name was Evelyn Benabe. My cousin Gina, dont know what her husbands last name was. Thanks.
 
The couple's 8-year-old son, who was not harmed, called police to report his parents were dead. Two other unharmed children, ages 2 and 4, also were found at the scene at 4540 NW 107th Ave.

Prayers sent. I am sorry and don't think anything I can say will be the right thing.
