Spent $350 and got a Hesse made HK91 with 400 rounds of .308. Took the 91 clone to the range and a buddy and I proceeded to shoot 200 rounds of the ammo.
A gun show was coming up so I took the gun there because I had no interest in it. I swapped a guy the Hesse HK91 for a Nightforce 12x - 42x BR. Kept the other 200 rounds of ammo. Later that day sold the Nightforce 12 - 42x for $1000. I did pretty good on that deal.
Telecaster -- Ha ha ha! You would make a good contract lawer. What I meant to come across was forty five "calibers" at a $1 each came out to be $45. At least that's how we both said it at the time even if the technical stuff was vague. I was too excited about the deal to argue semantics with the guy.
Just an update on this gun. I put it up for sale for a while. After no bites I decided I was going to keep it and make it a nice looking gun and a shooter. So I found a guy in my area who does accurizing and parkerizing. So in three weeks or a month I will have a parkerized, and hopefully good shooting tanker.
I'm not reparking it, the finish it had now was black oxide, and it looked like crap compared to a nice park job. Will have pics when I get it back
