Great rifleI I love my little 10/22 carbine. It is great for taking care of most any yard pest of the four legged kind under 100 pounds. Plus it is a great rifle to learn marksmanship with.
My dad bought one when I was little and some where through the years he sold it off. Then about six or seven years later one of his friends said he knew a guy that wanted to sell a rifle. Turns out it was the exact same rifle my dad had sold years earlier. He gave it to me after he got it back.
The gun is twenty years old and shoots pretty good still. It needs a little work because my father in law left it sitting out in garage/barn for about a year. It still shoots pretty accurate and the wood is back to decent color. Twenty years and it will still take out an opossum, fox, or Pepsi bottle with one shot and mimum fuss.
Don't tell me I'm the only person to set up used glass cola bottles for target practice. It was rewarding to watch the bottles bust after punching paper.
