Heh, thanks for the responses everyone. It's funny how a thread like this gets a lot of action.

I'm going to start a new thread in the Revolvers forum about carrying both a semi-auto and revolver at the same time--so if this is something you do, feel free to chime in.

Strange. My G26 has never failed me. Everything from premium HP's to bulk WWB FMJ. It just works. Did you clean it after you bought it... before shooting it? It could be ammo related. I have had good luck with WWB 115gr, but they are not too consistent in load pressure.
I say clean it, lube/grease the rails and put another 200 through it.

I bought a G34 for IDPA and have been having a few malfunctions with it. The round fires but the slide only comes back about 1/2". It is very difficult to clear as the slide does not want to budge. I wind up dropping the magazine and force the slide back with a terriffic amount of effort and only then does it clear. I have not been able to find the spend casing to help diagnosis the problem after the stage is complete. This has happened on 3 occasions now. I am not dissapointed with the pistol, it makes the stage more challenging and is excellent practice. I do not trust the pistol for personal defense.
