My gun went off by itself!!

Maybe I should be worried--mine appear to be the quiet anti-social types. Should I seek help for them? Do they make Prozak for WASR-10s? Or should I just show them a little more attention? Is this something a case of ammo could fix? I hope so. I try not to get into situations that can't be fixed with a case of ammo...

My M39 Finnish Mosin keeps muttering about the horrible injustice of giving Karelia to the Soviets. One of these days he's going to drink too much svedka and go off on a rampage.

Gee, if my Finn M91 tried that, my 6 Russian Mosins would take it down! (Yeah, they'd lose three doing it...) The Polish M44 would sit it out, methinks. ;)

Was it charged as an adult or a juvenile?

Well, it could be up to 50 years old.. :uhoh:

Glad to hear that yours will go off, whether by himself or in a crowd. I've been hearing so much about the proliferation of handguns that I'm starting to get jealous. I can't get any of mine to proliferate, no matter what I do. I've tried leaving them to themselves, putting them together in the dark, dressed and undressed, both. I've segregated them by size and mixed them by size. Same with color, purpose in life, and country of origin. Nothing happens. I even did a little plastic surgery on several of them to give them more attractive round butts. Still nothing. There is clearly something about the proliferation of handguns that is beyond me.

Can anyone help?

It's real frustrating eh - I have had Mozart and even Beethoven playing to mine in the safe - and they are all comfortable, snug and warm but heck - zilch.

Had thought about trying IUI but can't find donors. Then some complain that ''in-breeding'' ain't on, Smiths are buggers for that! Others claim the opposite - they don't want to breed mongrels! Mixed blood and all that stuff!.

No win situation and so - no proliferation at all. Keep trying tho. :p

I tried the same thing with my favorite two rifles and nothing

 Left the AR-15 and the WASR 10, both alone with a fine bottle of CLP, with good ol' Barry White in the background to get things started and was hoping that I would be able to come back to a," litter", of baby Galils ;) , no luck though :( !

Put in the corner

I recently had to put several of mine in the corner. Tragic misbehavior, dead soda cans littering the area. I can't trust my .45 anymore, don't let it out of my sight. Can't have them coming and going at all hours, can I?

ROTFLMAO! Thanks, guys, for getting my day off to a good start.

Guess my guns are either unmotivated or just plain lazy. They won't do anything by themselves, kinda like my stepson when he was in his teens. He grew out of it and I'm hoping they will, also.

This Saturday is the annual trap-and-other-stuff shoot and cookout at my farm. Lots of noise, fun, food, cigars and (after all the guns are safely locked away) Gentleman Jack. I'm more excited than a kid on Christmas eve.

My Armscor keeps sneaking off to drink.
making itself an utter bore at the pubs.
It keeps going on and on about losing auditions
for parts in movies and TV shows.

With an Armscor, it's always about casting parts.

I had long suspected that my Springfield was going behind my back. I confirmed it the other day when I got a notice of a new card holder on my credit card on my account. The name on it was Mr. Ecks de Nein. Figures. Now I know where all my ammo has been going.

And I have a sneaky feeling that it's been having an affair with my neighbor's Model 10 Smith. I just hope they're being safe...
