nothing wrong with hunting with an AK style rifle... I've shot deer at 200 yds with a Vepr in 308. Now Glocks... thats another story.

all AK's are not the same. and none here are really AK47's. (well ok maybe a few are)

I don't go hunting with an AK47 and I'm not suggesting that any one should.

I just don't agree with the PC of the big box stores, the same store that will sell you a 1911 or a rem 700 won't sell you an AR or an AK because it might scare the sheeple.

They're not a hunting store they're and "outdoor" store and last time I checked shooting was considered an "outdoor" sport.

Have you ever tried to shoot there I've tried at three so far, I think I would rather have a colonoscopy then do it again at two of those. The whole experience usually starts off sour when you go to the counter and say I would like to use the range, they either don't know what a shooting range is or that they have one or they call the manager who they say will probably call the cops because there's no guns in the building.

then after the ordeal the "gun locking dude"(thats what he called himself) comes and drops your guns a few times and locks them, from then it's not so bad. I guess being told I was going to be arrested for trying to shoot there the first time i tried to shoot there soured me on them.

That and it still eats at me that there website has two versions if you imediately click on guns then you go to the gun version that has everything they sell, if you don't it takes you to a more PC version I think you can still find like gun cases and maybe slings but everything else gun related is gone.
