Today I came across this nice benchrest gun on consignment for $625 at a local gunshop. It is a .308 bolt action Savage 110FP heavy barrel on what appears to be a custom laminated wood stock (IIRC the 110FP model comes with a black comsposite stock not a wood stock). The trigger, although not Savage’s accu-trigger, is very smooth and has a very short break. It also came with a Weaver Marksman 3-9×40 scope mounted on it (although I may replace it with a Leupold Rifleman 4-12×40 scope I have). The gun itself is in immaculate condition. I don't know much about Savage rifles, I hope $625 was a fair price.

if that is a weaver made, El paso mfgr scope, it is worth over 100 , maybe 150 dollars down here in housotn. Just a fabulous scope, I wouldn't move it.
