Picked this up this week. Its a Shadow 2 that is modified by CZ Custom with a trigger job and an accurizing barrel bushing, among a couple other things. I'm a big fan of both CZ Custom's pistols and their modified CZ's.

Haven't shot this one yet, but looking forward to it.

Here it is with my other CZ's...

(TSO, Czechmate, Shadow 2 Orange, Accu-Shadow, and SP01 Shadow Orange) The SP01 Orange is also a CZC modified pistol. The other three are all factory CZ's.

These are not to be confused with CZC's A01 line, which are built complete in Arizona and do not start life as a CZ.

Nice collection of CZ pistols for sure . That’s a brand that I have always wanted , but I can’t bring myself to spend the money , maybe if I were younger .

Beautiful! A friend of mine is a self proclaimed CZ trigger snob. He bought a Shadow II Blue, then a 75 BD Compact, & a P-07. I have shot all of them. Now I find myself wanting a CZ.

Interested in seeing how this compares to the S2O.
Am surprised I don't see a TS2 orange in that mix, mine is fantastic.

Do you happen to own any of the KMR pistols, look to be better built CZs?
Thinking of adding one to the collection.

Been wanting a TS2 Orange, but CZ apparently sucks at producing them.

KMR to my knowledge isn’t available in the states as of yet. That being said, I hear they’re the company that does the hand fitting and extra features on the CZ Orange models.

If you want the best pistols in the world to use the CZ design, go with Phoenix from Switzerland. Nothing better. Expensive, but worth every penny.

What is different compared to the Orange S2?

(

They are similar. One is modified at the “factory” and the other is modified at CZ Custom.

One big misconception is that CZ Custom is CZ’s custom shop. They are, in fact, a completely different company. They specialize in modding CZ pistols, much like Cajun Gun Works.

CZ Custom also builds some of their own pistols as well.

I think some of that confusion comes from the fact that CZ USA also lists guns built by CZ custom on their website.

One other difference is the hand fit slides on the orange models.
Both my TSO and TS2O pistols have tight darn near zero play in slide to frame fitment.

I know the TS2 Orange and Shadow 2 Orange have some hand fitting. I did not think the original TSO did, frankly.

From what I gather, KMR does the work for CZ on these pistols. I do not believe they were involved with the original TSO.

As for the websites, they both advertise each other’s pistols. Definitely a good partnership and it makes sense to do so.

Im very surprised you purchased this. I follow you on various sites and this pistol seems to common for you.

Another difference is the S2O is production legal. Last I knew, the Accu-Shadow is not.
But that is not a difference in the guns, just a difference in how a class of completion labels them.

CZ has a history of building limited runs of pistols in order to suit competitors trying to getting into certain classes.
CZ Shadow line
SP01 competetion
CZ Target

Are a few that come to mind.

That sounds nice. That's the exact one I want, and I have had a Shadow in the back of my mind for a long time. They had a screaming deal at PSA for the "normal" shadow 2 recently. I passed on it because I prefer the version you have. I need more handguns about as much as I need a hole in my head but dang I need one of those CZ Shadows...nice handgun man.
