My new LEE Auto Bench Primer

Looks like a pretty decent tool. I've been priming with the Hornady hand tool for many years. I much prefer that design (and the Lee's design) to stacked primers...that have to be picked up one by one.

I primed a few cases today for an experimental load and noticed it was easy to "bump" the handle to the end of it's up travel and insure good feeding. Not even a push, just kinda "help" the handle travel to the upper end of it's travel.

The technician I spoke with at Lee Precision said that John Lee wanted to have the primer feed require a slight upward lifting of the handle to give more positive control over primer movement. That was the main design function of the o-ring as I understand it.

Forgive the resurrection.

Some or most of you may be aware of this but I just learned and was so blown away I had to share....

You only pay shipping on back-up/replacement parts.

For $6 shipping I just ordered:
4 of the complete plastic adapter inserts 2 large/2 small, 2 connecting rods, 2 O-rings, & 2 lever pivot pins.

Has anyone experienced any breakages or worn out parts yet in their Auto Bench Priming tool?
