I finally broke down and picked one up. I still have not had a chance to take it to the range but this weekend its on.

This appears to be mid 80's Springfield. Its fairly clean so it will be interesting to see how it actually shoots. I plan on replacing the assembly pin with something a little easier to take down but thats about it. Now when I go hiking through my buddy's land, I will not have to lug around 14lb of gun gear.

I bought one a while ago for $300-ish, and it was a good deal at the time.

There's one presently on Gunbroker that isn't as nice an example as the above, but is still listed in the $300-$350 range.

Only found by doing a search of "22 410", as the seller has it erroneously listed as an M4.

I believe the non-CZ marked rifles are going for more than the CZ ones.

I paid $340 total (price+shipping+transfer) a while ago for a CZ in the box with maybe 5 rounds through it.

I wish I would have bought one when the local shop had them at $100.

I often wish that I had one but can't justify buying one at 300+. That seems like a lot of money.

I think the fact they don't make them any more is why they are going up so fast. Weak dollar doesn't help, but other things haven't went up 300-400% in price over a couple year period.

My dad bought tens of ex-military 1911's for $15-$30 per gun... Now those would all be going for $600-$2000 per gun.

When they don't make something any more, the price goes up. Pretty simple.
