I have been wanting one of these for a while but internet horror stories of accuracy has kept me from it. If you could post a range review with accuracy results I sure would appreciate it.
Beautiful rifle btw

I didn't hear about it on the internet, I've seen it with my own unfiltered eyeballs. Interested to see the results here. They say the newer mini 14's shoot well but have not seen any reports on the 30's.

I read this one the other month. Nothing surprising.
Ruger made the Mini-14 in 6.8 SPC for awhile. I read somewhere that they discontinued it, but you might be able to find a used one. Some time ago I was thinking of building a semi-auto rifle based on the design of a down-sized M1 or M1a and firing a round in something like the 6.5mm or 7mm Mauser.
Then I heard of the Mini 30 and dropped the whole idea.
My mini-30 was brand new 2 years ago. Still not what I would consider an "accurate" rifle but then I'm used to bolt action MOA accuracy too.I didn't hear about it on the internet, I've seen it with my own unfiltered eyeballs.
