I went to the range Friday after work. I brought along my newly purchased Springfield Armory 1911 SS Loaded. It worked flawlessly, even though it was brand new. Woohoo! I expected the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. No problems whatsover.
While there, a stranger wanted to shoot one of my guns. I obliged. In return, he let me shoot his CZ (no idea what model or caliber). I figured, why not. I promtply made a 3/4" group with the first 9 shots and left the tenth at about 1.5" at 7 yards. I was really disgusted not only at my last shot, but the fact I shot this CZ better than any other gun I've shot before (accuracy wise) including my current guns but not 1/2 as disgusted as the guy who owned it! He was astonished and I was very surprised at my accuracy and how nice his CZ shot, but played it off like I group like that all the time (I don't). The CZ owner was stunned, as his groups were nowhere near mine. I wish I could group the same with my guns.
That CZ trial made a believer out of me. Heck of a nice gun.
