Been in the mood to buy a new gun or two...I guess that's what happens when you go too many places, looking at too many guns...

An Idiot Mark is when you are reassembling the prettiest, smartest looking 1911 that you have ever seen and are in the process of reinstalling the slide stop pin. If you're not careful, you will pivot the pin back and forth while it's resting on the frame and will immediately install a very nice deep scratch in the form of an arc on your pride and joy. Do a search for "idiot mark" on some of the forums and you will see some beauties. According to OleCodger's law of physics, the nicer and more expensive the pistol, normally the deeper the mark.

I love my Taurus Firearms.....I would like to get one of these as well in 9mm.
I have the PT92 AFS 9mm with the same finish! I love that matte stainless look.
I like your grips too! I wish Taurus would just stop making those darn plastic grips...I dont get that at all? Its like sticking hubcaps on a corvette!!!
They make a beautiful set of Bulls Head Walnut with the Taurus Logo in it that should be there STANDARD issue with these guns!
I have stated many times that I think the PT1911 is the best deal going in 1911, with all the little extras that come standard... and then there is the grips!
That would be my only complaint with them.
In my opinion anyway!
