I just picked-up my Sig Pro pistol and i'm very impressed with it !
I went to a local gun shop 10 minutes away just to see if they had any AK 47's in stock. They didn't,so as i was walking out i glanced down at the glass cabinate and saw a row of gorgeous Sigs. Then i barely made-out a price on a sticker ,[ $379 ], on a Sig Pro !
The pistol looked brand new ! The sales man told me that a " kid " had bought it,never fired it,and then returned it and sold it back to them !
I couldn't believe the price reduction even though it was still new, they had to sell as " used " ! So, i finally have it with me at home and i'm thrilled at the deal ! It was $411 out the door total. It was very, very dry.So i oiled her up with " Rem Oil " which is really great.I also kept the larger hand grip panel on,even though i have small/medium hands, the larger grip just feels better.
I also have the Hogue Rubber Sleeve Grip on the handle.
I look forward to visiting the local pistol range soon and run a 50 round box through it !
I have the Sig P220 already, and i like the feel of that one better. But i couldn't resist the deal on the Sig Pro ! :)

i hate the P250 !

It is too wide and bulky and just feels " cheap " !
There's alot of negative remarks about them on this forum.
If i were to buy a compact at this moment it would be the CZ P-01 in 9MM.

What is the reasoning for all these changes in the poly line? 2340 to 2022 to 250
They obsolete models faster than personal computers.

I would have thought the 2022, with the huge number made for Europe, would have been around for a long time.

Anyway, congrats on the 2022. Have fun with it.

Is it the DA/SA or DAO?

I just bought my father in law a well used Sig Pro 2009 (older model) 9mm DAO with night sights for $415 otd last month. He doesn't really like the DAO but hey...it's a pretty sweet gun.

Oh, they'll keep selling SP2022's in Europe, Asia, and anywhere else. They just want us in the US to buy the new gun with LOTS of accessories/spare parts/different modules.

Plus, I think the SP2022 is relatively low price for SIGs.

mine is a DA/SA trigger pull....

i prefer it that way.i can draw the hammer back for a better accurate shot on a single action pull if i want.i love the trigger pull on 1911's because they are fast and the pull is always consistant.A single action pull on my Sig Pro is similar to the pull of a 1911 in that it is also fast and consistent.

Sig Sauer must continue to make new models in order to stimulate intrest in their product line. This is an underlining selling stratagy for the marketing of all products.

The P250 is a huge mistake for Sig Sauer in my opinion. It's a stupid stratagy to make a pistol with interchangable parts. It is too expensive to do this.Plus the pistol has the worse recond for reliability out of all the current Sig models.
