Scratch that Sig556 pistol. After handling it, I wasn't too thrilled with it. I don't know why it is, but all these rifle caliber pistols, be it the AR or the Sig, always manage to get me excited when they come out. Maybe it's because of the coolness factor. But, once I get to play with them for a little bit, bleh.

Not sure if I'll ever buy five hand guns...

Currently, I have a Single Six Hunter as my .22. I also have a 4" stainless GP100.

I've been back and forth on what to do next.

I bought a 4" Ruger Redhawk, but later sold it. I decided that the timing of the gun purchase was poor. I sold it to finance the purchase of a limited edition 5" GP100. That never happened. We had a few finacial set backs, and my gun money ended going into buying Christmas presents for my neices and nephew. I really wanted that gun, but I made the right call. My wife's sister made some stupid decisions and the kids weren't going to have much of a Christmas. If things weren't so tight, I would have been able to afford the gun as well.

Oh well. My problems are trivial compared to what some people have gone through during the recession.

At this point, I will probably only buy two more hand guns. I'll keep what I have and then add two more.

I'd like to get an XD45 compact and a Ruger SP101 in .357 magnum. I might substitute an M&P in 9 mm, instead of the XD. I'll have to wait and see. 9mm is a cheaper round and the M&Ps are pretty slick guns.

If I get anything else, I'll consider a shot gun and .22 rifle (maybe a Savage arms mark II or something similiar).
