    I bought a new SD9 recently for a cheapo blaster. I have to say I actually like the grip better than the M&P, but that's personal preference. I've put a few hundred rounds through it and it shoot quite well. The trigger is on the heavy side but in keeping with the idea of a self defense gun. This pistol is vastly superior to the Sigma and it's growing on me. I hope they aren't going to discontinue this pistol particularly if they keep making the Sigma.

    A well-written, honest review. I much prefer to read gun boards and blogs for information, than any slick magazines.

    This really trumps all other real or perceived - i.e., personal preference - shortcomings. I have never had any S&W auto, of any kind, malfunction in any way.
