Sorry dood !! I was doing a search on the web for my 12FV and this poped up, didnt look at the date. My bad:what:

Taso scope

Hey steelhead, how did you like that tasco scope?? im considering buying one from where i work for my Savage 12FV .22-250 and i can get it for $75 bucks. The one im looking at is a Tasco Target/Varmint 6x24x42. I noticed that it was considerably more blurry when it was on 24 power than it was 6 power. Is this becuase of the store lights (which are pretty bright) or just becuase it is a lower end scope?? im thinking that i will buy it and try it out, if it's still blurry then i will probably just take it back. i like all of the qualities of the scope except the AO is marked in Meters and has a white hash mark for yards but no number next to it. I know thats going to confuse me while im getting set up to bust a hog. and can you explain what the horizontal marks under the vertical turret are?? i know it indicates how far you have moved up or down, but is there anything else to it? Any tricks to bullet drop compensation? thanks for your time.
Dennis

I have had good luck with our issue ammunition, which is 168 gr Federal GM Match. I have averaged 3/4" groups at 100 yards with my 10FP-LE2A. I believe that quality optics are the way to go with any precision rifle. I have a Kahles Helia S 3-12x56 now, and am saving up for a Leupold Illuminated 6-20x50 LR/T Mil-Dot.
