I just bought a new Model 41, 22 Smith and Wesson. I first went to the range with a brick of hollow point Winchester ammo. I had FTFs, FTEs, and even got one stuck in the chamber. That ended the shooting session with the 41.
Went back today with CCI solid points. The Model 41 digested them all without a single hitch or glitch.
I also had a box of Federal solid points. There was one stovepipe. But other than that, it was good.
Anybody have any insight as to why the gun doesn't do well with a particular type of ammo?
