Had about 250 rounds through it, when I took it out to the range again. Fired about 25 rounds and noticed that the trigger did not want to return. The gun still fired but the trigger was not returning quickly. I stopped shooting the gun. Upon cleaning it noticed that a part where the visable front pin is located was sliding back and forth. The part was visably broken. Time to send the pistol back to Taurus for repair. The part looked like plastic. Anyone else have this problem?

I will keep you posted on this, I just shipped the gun back today. Fed Ex $38.92 to send it. If it keeps breaking at these shipping prices, Taurus Handguns won't be a cost savings handgun anymore. I am not giving up with this gun yet. It shoots good. I have only had one round get stuck in the magazine other than that it was reliable until the trigger part broke.

What do expect for a jungle gun?
They have great customer service.....must have to have a big service department for all those returns.....
very experience and overworked gunsmiths there...
Of course at the factory, they pay their machinist $65 a month, a bus ride to work and a sandwich for breakfast, and a tin shack to live in.....
No wonder why Taurus's are cheap, and have a spotty quality record....

I'm a Brazilian....and your views are offensive. You ever been to Brazil?

On topic.....is this a millenium pro?

Taurus' polymer autos aren't very desirable. I've seen alot of them sold and nearly all of them come back to the shop and fixed then traded off. However their metal autos like the PT92 are fantastic, never really heard of anyone having anything bad to say about them!

Have you ever been inside a Taurus Factory?
I have...just outside of Miami. Superb machine tools and technology.
But the comments sound like an organized labor problem to me.

"What do expect from a jungle gun???"

not only is your comment offensive, it lacks polish and poise (try adding a you in there). I happen to own a pt111 and its been a fine shooter even after the 500 rounds put through it.

It's a new gun but not the Pro model it's the millennium in 40 S&W.
I actually like the looks of the "Non" Pro model. I like the standard Millennium.
What I don't understand is if the same parts keep breaking why don't they make a better part for them. This part looked plastic that broke. If the same parts keep breaking, the FBI would call that a "Clue" and change or fix the defective parts. They make a nice looking pistol I just don't get why their guns keep breaking. The problem is that it's is too costly to keep sending the gun back for repairs, that's why people trade them in when fixed. If taurus picked up the shipping tab I would bet that fixing the parts would be a lot cheaper. Maybe then they would get it right.
