I'm pretty fond of .40 S&W overall, good power that I shoot pretty well with. Had been wanting something in that caliber for CCW but couldn't make up my mind between several options. So tonight I went to the range and the guy next to me had a Mil-Pro PT-140 that he let me run a few magazines through.
At about 35 ft my first round was a bit of a flier but still on the paper, then I put the next three rounds through the same ragged hole about 1" to the left of the bullseye! You better believe I stopped shooting and recovered that target as a keeper
Okay, chalk it up to luck because the rest of the groupings were pretty similar to my XD-40 (service model) say a 3" group. Trigger is WAY different from the XD but I didn't dislike it. That's it, I'm hooked. Gotta get me one of these.
Odd thing though, Taurus lists the PT-140 as a DA/SA trigger but this one really felt like a DAO.
