Well I have to say I'm impressed so far with my Kimber K6s. I have the matte stainless model with black rubber grips and three dot sights.

This gun is very well made and shoot great. I carry it loaded with 130gr 357 hydra-shoks. They shoot really well. I read a lot about the price of these being too high. The model I have is selling for $700ish where I am.

I have to say my brother gave me mine, but I'd gladly pay that for this gun. I think if your not a revolver guy you may not understand the quality of these guns.

Being that they are all stainless steel and have no MIM parts, they just cost more to manufacture.

I'm very happy with this gun. I also like like it has six rounds as well. Just thought I'd share my experience with my K6s so far.

Mine has the black ramp sight system. Does the 3 dot shoot directly to the dot or to the the top of the front blade? I'm trying to decide which to get next for my wife.

Thank you kind sir. I'm patiently waiting for the night sight models to hit shelves. That'll likely be my next purchase. Per Kimber, once all orders are filled they will make the various sights available for purchase, at which time I'll likely convert my current sights as well.

Night sights are a comforting addition to any gun but these short barreled revolvers that their primary sue would most likely be up close and personal, may not be needed. I have and am still learning to point shoot my carry guns. A few years ago I checked my guns equipped with night sights and found more than half of them had extremely low output or had gone completely dead. Replaceable? Yea, but I felt my money may be better invested is CT Lasergrips so I went that direction on my snubbies. My K6S came with them and they make anyone that can control a trigger, a much better, more accurate shooter. Not to mention the huge training benefit they offer.
BTW, I have been lovin' my K6S since I got it awhile back.
Just my 2¢

Well, my thought on handling the gun was 'what a strange trigger?', and others at the gun store agreed. If you like a trigger that stages well, then this is the gun for you.

The K6S has one of the best if not the best stock trigger on a revolver so far, it rivals a custom trigger job, but then the K6S is just a class act all around IMHO...

Very interesting. I have been a Pistol guy for more decades than I can remember (other than single action). About a year ago, I invested in a Ruger LCR9mm and fell in love with it. Actually addicted to shooting it at least once a week.I loved the challenge it offered to shoot well, and there is a certain satisfaction well that challenge is mastered. So along the way, I seem to be going the way of the Revolver. Just something about them that earns so much respect. That Kimber sure is a nice gun. I would love to own one and my due so in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful report and best of luck to you .

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. A trigger pull should be smooth and pull straight through with no point where the pull increases or the sear wants to stop. I personally don't mind the staging point, but it's not what you'll get with a custom job without asking.

Try a S&W pre-lock model like the Model 19. That's a good trigger.
