Folks:
Just purchased a Colt 1991A1 series 80 stainless steel a few weeks ago. I've only put 50 rounds through it and while disassembling and cleaning, I've had a few odd small pieces of metal drop out!
Everything appears to function just fine and I can't see where these may have come from other than up in the recoil spring guide
? Is it time to take 'er to the gunsmith and let him puzzle it out?
