Just picked up our new Black Widow last night. We've had a magnum/LR combo for some time and really liked it, except for the lack of a rear sight. After much waffling and trying to find a rear sight, we bit the bullet and bought the Black Widow, 2 inch barrel, with both a LR and a magnum cylinder.
Fit and finish are what we've come to expect from NAA. Both superb. The larger black rubber grip is much easier to use than the wooden bird's head. It fills more of the hand and gives greater stability to the firearm.
My wife and I both shot a combination of Remington bulk pack HPs and Mags. The LRs grouped a bit left and high. At first, the trigger felt stiff, and both our groups were strung vertically through about 10" at 7 yards. All our patterns were about 3 inches left. One of the range pros fired a cylinder with us and got the same grouping, but strung it through about 5 inches. After we each shot 2 cylinders, out patterns also came together vertically, but still about 3 inches left. I'd guess we shot about a 6 inch group after that, with the vertical being the long axis. I think that will improve after we get the trigger broken in and smoothed out a bit more.
The magnums followed the same pattern, but had higher overall hits.
We both used the classic hold, with the tip of the red front blade sight centered and aligned with the rear notch. After the trigger smooths, we should close up the groups by about half. This is a keeper.
Be well,
Scarface
