Not Goodfellas , definitely Godfather. Clemenza was leaving the house to “deal with” a disloyal soldier, was told by his wife “Don’t forget the dessert for tonight.”. I believe that the targeted individual was Clemenza”s driver , who thought they were going out for a series of ordinary errands. After picking up the dessert , drove to a desolate industrial backroad , driver got popped. Front seat of car is a mess. Clemenza and company calmly exit the car , with Clemenza directing his minions to “Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.”. No sense screwing up a good day at work by getting chewed out by the little woman.
I think they've all been named so far so I'll start over 1. "Say hello to my little friend" 2. "Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?"
Quigley Down Under. Ooops, forgot to add one.. "Why don't ya knock it off with those negative waves..?"
Boondock Saints is one of the greatest movies of all time. Too bad I can’t watch it again for the next 30 years or so until little ears are away. But I may have grandkids by then so who knows. Boondock Saints 2 was nowhere near as good. And good job for finding the one quote that is THR language kosher.
Ok, an easy one. Can’t believe it hasn’t been used... “Ancient weapons and hokey religion is not match for a good blaster at my side.”
Not exact quote but the exchange goes something like this; J: "I need a gun" K: hands J a tiny little space gun and says: "Noisy Cricket"
"Go to the sporting goods store. From the files obtain forms 4473. These will contain descriptions of weapons, and lists of private ownership." "It's 11:59 on Radio Free America; this is Uncle Sam, with music, and the truth until dawn. Right now I've got a few words for some of our brothers and sisters in the occupied zone: "the chair is against the wall, the chair is against the wall", "john has a long mustache, john has a long mustache". It's twelve o'clock, American, another day closer to victory. And for all of you out there, on, or behind the line, this is your song." [the Battle Hymn of the Republic begins to play]
Blackhawk Down. Another good one! Its finally getting into movie watching season for me, I need to get caught up on all of these.
Scarface and Outlaw Josie Wales. "A gun is a tool, Matrian". (I can't believe no one has tried that one yet). or "This is the .44 Mag Ultra Mag, and properly used, it can remove the fingerprints". or "Just like a wop, bringing a knife to a gunfight." or an old one "he comes at you with a knife, you use a gun, cancel his ticket right then and there" or "Go ahead, skin that smokewagon."
(Forgot to insert the quote...): "Just like a wop, bringing a knife to a gunfight." The Untouchables “You see, in this world, there’s two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig.”
"I have two guns, one for the each of ya." My answer to a previous movie reminded me of this great line.
Oddball in Kelly's Heros. Had to look it up though - my head got stuck on Dirty Dozen. "What's the most you ever lost on a coin toss?" Hint: - Just how dangerous is he? - Compared to what, the bubonic plague?
