I was drawn to hunt this wildlife management area from a postcard drawing through tpwd. Has anyone ever hunted this area before? the hunt is march 4-6 and I am hoping for a little advice before I get there. I have never been around that area before I live a few hours north of there. It said atv use is allowed I wonder if a 2wd 4 wheeler can get around in there? any info on the area would be great

I haven't been there in a long time, but from what I remember, it is soft and softer still during rainy season which March often is. This is why they say knee boots and raingear are considered necessary. If you try to use a full size 2WD off road, you may need a someone with a 4WD to pull you out. It does say "limited use" of ATV and ORV so I doubt full size 2WD would be allowed at all. A 2WD ATV, maybe. A phone call to TP&W would probably get you a definitive answer.
