Need Advise Help. My Identity has been compromised. What should I do?

I have been getting a similar email from "Ebay". Other than the message and hyperlink just not looking right - Dear customer...your account has been suspended...

I immediately new it was fraudulent because I don't have an Ebay account. Never bought anything, never sold anything. I have warned others that have the same ISP I have. Be careful!

These web sites are designed by the evil. Anytime you type anything onto a website, chances are that ANYTHIN you click on the site will POST that data to the site.

When you entered all the secure info, did you hit a continue button....... or a submit button? If it was just a continue button, you should be safe.

Not true.

Assume that they have the info.

I have used these folks for years now. For $9.99 a month they monitor your credit reports and notify you if anything unusual (inquiries, new card applications etc etc) has taken place. They also send you a full report every 3 months IIRC. I have found it to be very useful in the past as a tool to IMPROVE my credit rating, it gives you the info on what makes up a good credit reort and how to go about using the info to your benefit.

Actually the secret is to PAY YOUR BILLS ON TIME!
