need advise on a stock

Hey sorry for the stupid question. If its been asked I apologize. I am new to high powered rifles and have a few questions.

Looking into picking up a Stevens 200, long action 30 06.
Reading some of the other threads, the Savage 110 will fit the Stevens 200, right?

Also looking into getting the Choate Ultimate Sniper FOLDING Stock for Savage Long Action. I assume it will drop in without modification, correct?

Also, if anyone one has any advise for me I would appriciate it.

AFAIK, the only difference between Stevens and Savage rifles is the accutrigger. Having said that, I do not own any Stevens rifles (though I own several Savages).

I can't imagine that any minor differences would be difficult to overcome. I used a non-accutrigger stock on an accutrigger rifle, it took about 10 minutes to remove a bit of material at the back of the stock inlet to allow the accutrigger to fit properly, and it bolted right up.

Still, I'd contact Savage, or perhaps the stock maker, before spending your money!

The fit fine. I put a Savage SA Duramaxx on my SA Stevens. Like cmidkiff said, only difference in the actions is the trigger. A 3 digit Savage designation is a LA, a 2 digit is a SA.
