When I got my midway range bag it came with an empty brass brag with mesh at the bottom to drop sand and yesterday I LEFT IT AT THE RANGE.

Aside from the brass I lost I want my bag back but I don't want to buy a new range bag.

Any ideas where I can find a new empty range bag.

Maybe call Midway and see if they will sell you a replacement bag?

I use the heavy duty zipper bank money bags you can get free if you are a good customer.
No mesh, but I try to shake the sand and rocks out of it anyway when I pick it up.
The rest I get rid of when I get home and sort it by caliber.

You need just a mesh inner bag just for brass--not a whole new range bag?

Go to Wal-Mart and find a zippered mesh bag in the laundry area for washing delicate items. They are inexpensive and come in various sizes.

CHEAP solution...

Lovesbeer 99--If you want to go really inexpensive, you might utelize a mesh bag from the grocery store, such as those in which onions, potatoes, and carrots sometimes come packaged.

Especially if the container is apt to get left somewhere and lost, I try to re-use bags and such that I already have.

For range pick-up brass what I use is regular heavy-duty plastic bags that things sometimes come delivered in--They last for just so long with the brass and bullets I collect, and then I put 'em in plastic bag recycling, where they'd go anyway. I just get a few uses out of 'em first.

I work in the IT field and when we get new computers, included in the box is a very nice, heavy duty zip-lock plastic bag. I collect up a few and take these to the range for my pickups.

If you take your lunch to work, you might have plastic zip-lock bags for sandwiches, etc. Recycle 'em for range pickups.

Take an empty Pepsi bottle with a screw on lid. (Can you imagine how many pieces of brass will fit in a 2-liter bottle?)

Or Gatorade bottle.

I love the mesh bag that comes with the MidwayUSA Range Bag. The mesh at the bottom allows all of the junk to fall out (give it a good shake) before I get it home to sort.

No prob. I've got a few around here too...bought extra last time so that my shooting partners can help pick up brass too. ;)

I just use 1 gallon water/milk jugs with a big enough hole cut in the top to shove my fist through. Basically just cut out the neck part but leave the handle. I can pick up a helluva lot of brass with one. Windshield washer fluid jugs are good too, they're usually a little tougher/thicker plastic.

Competitive Edge Dynamics makes one. I don't recall where I purchased mine for sure, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't Midway.

I guess i'm just cheap...I use a ammo can (typically one of the tall ones for det. fuses) for a "range bag" then fill with brass afterwards (either directly in the can or in MTM boxes time permitting). It's durable, watertight, and leaves me more money for boolits so I can keep shootin'. :D

I have the bags because I like that I can shake the dirt out...but I frequently raid the trash can and grab whatever container I can find....twas a milk jug with a hole in the top the other day.

I searched all over midway and brownells and all sorts of websites and could not find this bag. I even called Midway and they said they didn't have a bag like this.

Oh well I ordered 2 bags from that first site posted and I'll see what happens.
