Just need some General Advice from your experience. I have several pistols, but my main Carry is a Glock 36. During the Winter, with a Jacket it is easy to carry and hide. In the Summer with Baggy Cargo Shorts, no problem.

Where I have a question is with jeans. I have a Wallet type Holster, but it is a Pocket Full. I have just bought an IWB Holster, but with the Pistol it is rather thick at the appendix position or behind the back.

Don't really think an Ankle Holster is an option for me. Can't hardly reach my ankles due to this gut. Have considered the Undershirt with the holster pockets under the arms, but dont know anyone who has one for TRUE feedback.

Even considered the Slide Clip that Glock Offers, but a little timid about an unprotected trigger. Probably wouldn't be an issue, but would hate to be scratchin and blow off a Butt Cheek or worse around front.

Forr the most part, I have ways of carrying, but need more options. Your input is Greatly appreciated.

Hey Scotty, I've carried daily for fifteen years, so I have a decent amount of experience to share. I own a G36 and I carry it in a Fist ultra-thin kydex IWB at about 3:30 o'clock. The 36 is not my favorite, but I carry it on occasion.

I have used the little holster undershirt but I don't use it now. I just didn't think I would be able to get to the gun quickly enough if I ever needed it. Plus during daily activities, it's likely to print or show. I kinda view that design as gimmicky now.

I agree with you on the clip approach. I could use a clip with some other pistols but I don't think I'd be comfortable either using it with a Glock trigger.

If you haven't found IWB to be comfortable I'd suggest three things:
1. Make sure you have a good quality holster. It will cost you over $50.
2. Drop some bucks on a good heavy belt. Many people here have discussed handgun belts, but I was able to find a very heavy belt at Walmart that was not purpose-designed for handgun carry. The key here is to get a thick, heavy belt.
3. Make sure you try a pair of oversized pants. A couple extra inches in the waist might make it much more comfortable for you.

I know everything I've mentioned says $$$. Unfortunately I don't believe there's a way to get around that.

Oh yeah, and God forbid you might lose a few pounds of that gut.

I carry a G36 in a cross breed supertuck @ 8:30 possition being a southpaw. +1 on having a real good gun belt to add stability

I've developed a noticeably larger mid-section since retirement. Even with that obstacle, I'm able to conceal my G36 pretty well. In the winter I always wear an extra large sweatshirt under a quilt lined flannel shirt. If I'm in a restaurant, I can still remove the flannel and keep the sweatshirt covering the gun. I found that my Galco slide holster(owb) on a Galco gun belt AND suspenders is the answer. Absolutely no droop or sag.

I carry mine in a Bearclaw Kydex, at the 3:30 position. It is so comfortable I am looking for one for my G19 now...
