A compact size, all stainless 9mm with decent capacity for a coworker. If you have any advice, please fill me in. Pictures would help as well. Basically, something that optimizes capacity with concealability on a non-polymer frame, stainless finish. Thanks!

If used is an option, try looking at the S&W Model 3900 series (8 rd. mag.), or the Model 6900 series (12rd. cap.). Available with a stainless slide and aluminum alloy frame, the last of the third generation of metal frame S&W autos were very well designed and constructed. Some models were DA/SA while others were DAO. Various models included the 3913, the 3913 (Ladysmith), 3913TSW, the 3953TSW, the 6906, and the 6946.

I have the MK40, but the MK9 is pretty much the same. It is not at all cumbersome.

Also, the Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry is now available in 9mm.

Okay, if NIB, high capacity, and concealable are the primary considerations; if stainless is not available with those features, would the co-worker consider another finish? There are any number of incredibly tough and durable treatments out there that will give you both the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, and in some cases, increase the surface hardness of the metal itself.

Smith & Wesson still has some "Value Line" or TSW pistols in the lineup, in all stainless steel or alloy frame with a finish matching the stainless slide. (Your post is unclear on this.:)) Aside from these, the all-stainless SIGs (suffix ST) are about all I can think of.

adding to another's post, I don't want to insult your coworker, but it might be that he could stand to learn about the quality of the other finishes on guns. I.e. perhaps someone told him in the past that stainless was the only way to go - which was before some other great options came about.

I too recommend the stainless Kahr, but the capacity is not real high. I keep finding myself wanting him to check out a Sig p6 too because they're a good buy right now. Other than that, I'm just thinking S&W's.

To clarify, coworker is a she, and by stainless I believe they want the "stainless look", if you know what I mean. No polymer. Hope this clarifies!:D

Again, I have to tread lightly here but sometimes people change their priorities when they get their hands on some real options. So it'd be nice if she could hold one of the following:

Kahr mk or pm series
Bersa .380
Taurus millenium pro
Glock 26

Suggestion 1: Get the co-worker to the local range with a pistol rental, where they can find out which pistol grips/controls feels best to them. Might also consider what they shoot best also.

Suggestion 2: If, and this may be a conditional suggestion, the CZ75 Compact (or one of the CZ75 compact pistols) is the winner, the Compact comes in the blued/polycoat/duo tone/brushed nickel (which could be easily mistaken for stainless).
